The coronavirus jab is expected to be rolled out to some kids after professionals encouraged making it available to people who are clinically susceptible or nearing their 18th birthday.
Vaccines minister Nadhim Zahawi said he'll deliver a statement to Parliament on Monday at the Government’s reaction to the recommendation from the Joint Committee on Vaccination and Immunisation (JCVI).
Under current steering, the ones elderly sixteen to 18 may be provided a vaccine if they are clinically extraordinarily vulnerable or at excessive hazard of Covid-19 because of underlying fitness situations.
But Mr Zahawi advised maximum children will not be provided a jab, indicating that the programme will simplest be extended to vulnerable children between the ages of 12 and 15 and 17-yr-olds who're within three months of their 18th birthday.
Asked if kids are to get hold of a jab, Mr Zahawi instructed Sky News: “The Joint Committee on Vaccination and Immunisation (JCVI) have simply introduced their advice; we’ll consider it.

Pressed on why the Government isn't always looking to vaccinate all kids rather than simply folks that are vulnerable, Mr Zahawi brought: “The JCVI are continuing to review that.
